Public Knowledge Project (PKP), the creators of Open Journal Systems (OJS), the publishing platform used by the Namibian Journal of Environment, has created helpful online resources to help you submit an article for consideration.

NJE publishes peer-reviewed Articles, and more casual Field Notes. Both are submitted the same way, through this website. As a potential author the first thing you need to do is become a registered user of the NJE site. During the registration process, you'll be able register as both a reader and an author. You must be registered as author in order to submit a manuscript to NJE.

This wiki page will guide you through the registration process, illustrating how to create an author account for an OJS journal.

After you've done that, then you can submit your manuscript for consideration. You must download and use this template for all submissions.  View this wiki page to find out how to submit a manuscript for editorial consideration to an OJS journal.

Once you have submitted your manuscript, you can log in to track its progress through the review and publication process. You will also be kept updated by the NJE team.
